As a leader, it’s important to encourage your employees to take risks. This doesn’t mean you have to let them do whatever they want or make careless decisions. However, it does mean that you should let them have some leeway to take chances. If they do fail, that’s okay as long as they learn from their mistake and move on. Highly effective leaders know that encouraging risk-taking is a good way to build trust as well as set employees up for success.
